Felicity Jones, a British actress who is best recognized for her performance in Jane Hawking in The Theory of Everything (a critically popular film) She is among the most famous British actors. Jones began her acting career at age of 12 and appeared in many plays, TV shows and movies. Jones made her debut as an actress in the television movie The Treasure Seekers. In the following years, she was on the show as in Ethel Hallow another television show named The Worst Witch and its sequel Weirdsister College. Her first film, Flashbacks of a Fool, featured her as Young Ruth. Since then she has appeared in many movies. For instance, in The Invisible Woman & The Amazing Spider-Man 2 in particular, she was a star for her role. The role she played as the wife of Stephen Hawking in The Theory of Everything earned her an Oscar nod for the first time. Jones in her role as Stephen Hawking's wife in the biopic, based on the author's life, was well-received both by viewers and critics. Jones was later seen in Inferno an action film starring Tom Hanks. Inferno was a thriller starring Tom Hanks. British Academy of Film and Television Arts Los Angeles gave Jones her the British Artist of the Year in 2016 due to her extraordinary talent and contribution to cinema.
